There are advantages and disadvantages to both and your decision depends on how you plan to market your product.
But here’s a twist I’d like to mention (I got this idea from Samantha Milner’s book I mentioned in the previous post):
You can get some PLR content and then hire a ghostwriter to make changes to it so that it is unique.
You can end up paying around $200 for this but it is a lot cheaper than hiring a ghostwriter to create completely new content which could cost you around $1000.
You can even ask the ghostwriter to combine the content from more than one PLR product.
Of course, you can change the PLR content yourself and not bother paying a ghostwriter to do it. So this idea is only for those of you who don’t have the time to rewrite PLR content or just don’t feel confident about writing.
